Welcome to Our Farm

RIBICKIE Farms is a working family farm where food, animals, nature and tradition come together.

From our gourmet mushrooms and herbs to our chickens, turkeys, ducks, quail and bees, each part of the farm has its own place in the rhythm of our days.

As we continue to grow, we are also expanding our regenerative farming and conservation practices—working with the land, caring for its natural resources and creating spaces where pollinators, wildlife and people can thrive together.

Plants and herbs have always been an important part of life at RIBICKIE Farms.

Alongside the things we intentionally grow, our land is home to plants that return naturally year after year, including elderberry, mullein, bee balm, goldenrod, beautyberry, wild blueberry, sassafras and Chickasaw plum.

We value these plants not only for what they provide, but also for the role they play in the larger life of the farm.

As we continue learning, growing and caring for the land, we hope to preserve and pass along the plant knowledge and growing traditions that have traveled through generations before us.

Herbs, Plants & Growing Traditions

Life at RIBICKIE Farms is rarely quiet—and we wouldn’t have it any other way! Our chickens, turkeys, ducks, quail and bees each bring their own personalities and purpose to the farm.

From fresh eggs and busy bees to curious chickens who occasionally decide a trash can makes the perfect lookout spot, caring for our animals is part of the daily rhythm that makes our farm feel like home.

At RIBICKIE Farms, we believe caring for the land means working with it, not against it.

We are continuing to incorporate regenerative practices that help build healthier soil, support pollinators and wildlife, and make thoughtful use of the resources our farm already provides.

Even the spent growing blocks from our mushroom operation are returned to the land, where they can become part of the soil-building process.

As we expand our pollinator habitats and conservation areas, we are also preserving naturally occurring plants like mullein, goldenrod and other species that already have a place in our farm’s ecosystem.

Our goal is to leave the land healthier, more diverse and more resilient for the generations that come after us.
